What founders and teams ask their notes

Customer calls

After a few weeks of calls, nobody remembers who said what. Ask across your call notes and see which customer said it, in which call.

“What were the three objections on last week's calls?”

Client commitments

Before you reply to a client, check what was agreed. The answer cites the dated meeting notes, so you can stand behind it.

“What did we promise the client in March?”

Decisions and their reasons

Decisions get made in meetings and forgotten by the next quarter. Ask what was decided and open the note that recorded it.

“What did we decide before the board meeting?”

Who owns what

Action items scatter across standups and one-to-ones. Pick this sprint's notes and ask who said they would do what.

“What did Dan promise to ship this sprint?”

How it works after a call

  1. Capture it while it's fresh

Type during the meeting or dictate a note right after the call. Lumyo adds a short summary and files it under a category, so you never sort anything.

  2. Pick the notes for the question

One client's meetings, last month's customer calls, this sprint's standups. Lumyo only reads the notes you choose for that chat.

  3. Ask, then check the meeting

Each answer cites the notes behind it. Tap a source and the note opens at the exact line. If the notes don't cover it, Lumyo says so instead of guessing.

Answers are only as good as the notes

Lumyo answers from what you wrote down. If a call wasn't noted, or a note got a detail wrong, the answer can't fix that. The source link is there so you can check the line before you act on it.

The habit that helps most is a short note right after each meeting: who was there, what was decided, and what each person said they would do.
